Schedule Appointment

 

All new consignors must make an appointment for their first drop off. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday from 11-5pm. Schedule your appointment, then simply bring in your items and a member of our buying staff will let you know which items will be accepted. At that time, you will need to fill out our consignment contract. A member of our buying staff will then email you with a link to your online account which will list all inventory and pricing usually within 48 hours. To open an account, we must accept at least 5 items. 

MOSS only accepts women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and jewelry pieces that are freshly laundered and in excellent condition. We look for seasonally appropriate items that are 2-3 years old and newer. We look for luxury labels like Chanel, Hermés, Gucci and Louis Vuitton as well as popular contemporary labels like Khaite, Ganni, Self-Portrait, Vince, Veronica Beard and Ulla Johnson. For vintage items, contact our sister store Garment. Please keep in mind that we have a highly curated collection and may only accept a small fraction of what you bring in for consideration.

45% back on items priced for $500 and below

50% back on items priced between $500-$2000

60% back on items priced between $2000-$4000

70% back on items priced over $4000

Items will be on the sales floor for 90 days with a 20% markdown after the first month and a 50% markdown in the final month. After 90 days, consignors will be emailed and asked to pick up any remaining merchandise.  In some cases, items may be pulled and returned to you before the 90 day period.  Any items left after 2 weeks become the property of MOSS Designer Consignment and may be donated to either The Settlement Home or Austin Pets Alive. Check payments will be issued on a monthly basis for items sold during the previous month. Consignors may accumulate credit for items sold which may be used towards purchases at MOSS. 

We accepts consignment drop offs everyday Monday through Friday from 11-6pm. No drop-offs on weekends please!

MOSS does not accept swimwear or active wear (unless with tags attached), lingerie, business attire, or brands such as Escada, St. John, Tahari, Carlisle, Armani, Eileen Fisher, Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Free People, Michael by Michael Kors, Sam Edelman, BCBG, Splendid, Ted Baker, Banana Republic, J. Crew, etc.

Are you overwhelmed with your closet?  We make house calls!  If you have already cleaned out your closet and can't make it in to drop off, we will be happy to come to you.  We do reserve this service for existing consignors and/or larger pick ups so please email us at info@mossaustin.com to make an appointment.
